First of all let me thank you for visiting the Web Pages of the Embassy of Ukraine and extend my warm welcome to the information resources available here that respond to the wide scope of people's interests. I am sure that even your slightest curiosity about my country - Ukraine will be sufficiently satisfied at our Web Site.

I was posted to the Republic of Turkey at the time when Ukraine and Turkey marked the decade jubilee of the establishment of diplomatic relations between each other. Bearing in mind the ups and downs in the long history of Ukrainian-Turkish relations I am proud to see now that for these ten years - a tiny drop in the ocean of world history - both nations managed to develop the most friendly and mutually beneficial example of cooperation.

One of the most significant common achievements within this very short span of time is up-grading Ukrainian-Turkish relations to the level of constructive partnership. Such a progress would be impossible without sincere good will between Ukrainian and Turkish people. Ukraine and Turkey are more and more cooperative facing the global challenges. We are united in front of the most important strategic priority for Ukraine and the Republic of Turkey - membership in the European Union. Our both states sufficiently contribute to the stability and prosperity of Europe. To that end we have the necessary prerequisites as well as huge economic and human potential.
